Thank you to everyone who participated in the EdNews summer photo contest — 231 people entered photos. Sandie Lobo, a Buhl vice principal at Popplewell Elementary School, won $100 after 604 votes were tallied on Facebook. Her photo received 195 votes.
Sandie snapped her winning photo in June, on her farm in Buhl. She raises calves and her son, Alex, who is in the photo, enjoys interacting with the animals.
“Alex just loves the animals,” Sandie said. “We hope to get him showing animals next year at the fair.”
