Suzy Keller’s creative thinking won her $100 from the Idaho EdNews photo contest.
Suzy, a fifth grader at Nampa’s Ronald Reagan Elementary, coordinated her own first-day-of-school photo shoot — to jump in the air while holding a letter board. Her idea was hit on the EdNews Facebook account — 317 followers voted her photo their favorite of the 865 votes casted.
“Suzy always thinks of little ideas to be creative,” said Suzy’s mom, Betsy Keller. “This is a dream come true for her.”
Suzy plans to use the money to buy school supplies for her fifth-grade teacher Jessica Whittaker.
