Superintendent Ybarra’s schedule: April 8-12

State Superintendent Sherri Ybarra will spend part of the week in Washington, D.C., for a meeting of the Council of Chief State School Officers.

The CCSSO, an organization of elected and appointed state education officials, is holding its legislative conference through Tuesday.

Also, Ybarra has scheduled meetings with Frank Brogan, assistant education secretary for elementary and secondary education, and U.S. Rep. Russ Fulcher, R-Idaho, who sits on the House Education and Labor Committee.
