State superintendent Debbie Critchfield headed to the Statehouse Friday morning for a bit of an unusual purpose — supporting a group of fourth graders and their crusade to establish a state dinosaur.
The students’ bill, Senate Bill 1127, is headed to the Senate floor after a unanimous vote in the Senate State Affairs Committee.
After the roaring morning meeting, Critchfield held a one-on-one meeting with Chief Deputy Superintendent Ryan Cantrell, and a check-in with her executive team.
She concluded her week with a drive to Oakley, taking phone calls all the way home.
