State superintendent Debbie Critchfield is headed to the Magic Valley, after a day chock-full of interviews and meetings.
She’s preparing for two days off — Thursday to celebrate her son, daughter and son-in-law who are graduating from BYU Idaho. Friday, she’ll spend time with her family — including her mom who flew in from San Diego for Thursday’s graduation ceremony.
Earlier Wednesday, Critchfield attended a board meeting for the Idaho High School Activities Association, and sat down with Angie Freel and the University of Idaho Exention 4-H Development Program team. She later interviewed with Idaho columnist Chuck Malloy.

But Wednesday isn’t over yet. Tonight, she’ll offer remarks at the Future Farmers of America Convention at the College of Southern Idaho.
