Back-to-school dates

Each district in Idaho sets its own back-to-school schedule. Here are required dates for returning to school from some of the area districts. Check back at IdahoEdNews.org for more back-to-school information during the month of August.

Boise School District
July 22 — high school principals reported.
Aug. 1 — junior high principals.
Aug. 5 — elementary principals.
Aug. 20 — all teachers.
Aug. 27 — first day of school.

Caldwell School District
July 30 — all administrators.
Aug. 14 — all teachers.
Aug. 22 — first day of school.

Kuna School District
Aug. 19 — all teachers
Aug. 22 — first day of school

Meridian School District
Aug. 6 — all administrators.
Aug. 22 — professional development day for teachers.
Aug. 23 — all teachers.
Aug. 27 — first day of school.

Middleton School District
Aug. 1 — administrators.
Aug. 15 — all teachers.
Aug. 21 — first day of school.

Nampa School District
Aug. 6 — All administrators.
Aug. 19 — all teachers.
Aug. 20 — first day of school.

Vallivue School District
July 20 — all administrators reported.
Aug. 19 — all teachers.
