Russell Joki
Russell Joki is the former superintendent of the Nampa School District (1980-1985) and retired as professor of Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho in 2012. Parents should determine what supplies to buy
Challenge paying school fees. Choose your own supplies. Support schools, yes, but do not be intimidated with fees and “official” school supply lists.

Parents are the state’s education heroes
Without support of parents — as classroom volunteers, legislative advocates, activity boosters, and levy voters — public schools would collapse.
