Idaho’s superintendent is an assigned member to the State Board of Education, the board for the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind and the Land Board. All three assignments played a part of Superintendent Debbie Critchfield’s Valentine’s Day.
She first met with the State Board of Education’s Executive Committee to discuss her proposal for secondary career and technical education and to prepare for the upcoming board meeting, which is Wednesday and Thursday at Boise State University.
She then attended the Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs legislative luncheon before serving as chairperson for the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind board meeting, her first as superintendent.
She finished her Valentine’s Day by meeting with Carl Crabtree to prepare for next week’s Land Board meeting, her first as superintendent.
