Superintendent Ybarra’s schedule: April 1-5

Twelve meetings appear on state superintendent Sherri Ybarra’s schedule this week. And most aren’t going to even take place.
The week’s schedule is made up largely of House and Senate education committee meetings. But even though the Legislature is still in session, the committee work is winding down. House Education likely held its last meeting Thursday. Senate Education could meet this week to consider a funding formula “definitions” bill, if the measure passes the House.
Another scheduling glitch: Ybarra had scheduled a series of post-legislative “roadshow” meetings this week in Boise, Twin Falls and Idaho Falls. But with lawmakers still in session, Ybarra postponed these roadshow meetings late Friday.
Here’s the schedule, released Monday morning:

Monday
  • 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. MST, House Education Committee, Idaho State Capitol, EW41 (attend as needed for SDE business).
  • 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. MST, Directors Meeting, Barbara Morgan  Conference Room.
  • 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. MST, Scheduling Meeting, Supt. Ybarra’s Office.
  • 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. MST, Senate Education Committee, Idaho State Capitol, WW55 (attend as needed for SDE business).
