(UPDATED, 11:06 a.m., with an update to Ybarra’s schedule from last week.)
State superintendent Sherri Ybarra has only one event on her weekly schedule.
It’s the annual policy forum for the Council of Chief State School Officers, meeting in Atlanta.
CCSSO is a nonprofit group, made up of elected and appointed state education superintendents from across the nation.
Ybarra is at the conference through Wednesday.
She has no events or meetings on her schedule for Thursday or Friday.
An update: According to the schedule from last week, Ybarra was planning to spend Wednesday through Friday at the Idaho School Boards Association’s annual convention in Coeur d’Alene. Her website still indicates that she planned to spend three days at the conference, which ended Friday.
But on Thursday, Ybarra told Idaho Education News editor Jennifer Swindell that she was flying back to Boise that day.
