Do you have questions about Idaho Core Standards? What are they? Why does it matter? What changes?
All these questions and others are answered on a new site that supports Idaho Core Standards. The site has resources for teachers and parents, testimonials and blogs.
Idahoans for Excellence in Education, a statewide coalition of parents, teachers, school administrators, business leaders and child advocates, launched the new website at www.idahocorestandards.org. The IEE was formed in July to support the successful implementation of the Idaho Core Standards, a teaching requirement of all Idaho schools.
“Our coalition hopes that this website will provide parents and the public with credible information about how important the Idaho Core Standards are to our students’ success academically, in the workforce and in life. It is a one-stop resource for parents who want to learn more about the Idaho Core Standards and how they will affect their children’s education,” says Rod Gramer, President of Idaho Business for Education.
