Hi! My name is Jaclyn St. John and I’m excited for the new partnership between Idaho Education News and Dairy West to bring you this monthly column.

I’m a registered dietitian and a health and wellness manager at Dairy West. Dairy West represents dairy farm families in Idaho and Utah. We are passionate in the work we do on behalf of the dairy industry because we care about feeding the world with safe and nutritious food.

In this work, I help educate consumers about the important role nutrition plays in a healthy lifestyle and learning environment.

I’m also a mom to a beautiful 2-year old girl, Miss Chloe Sue. As a mom, I have a passionate interest in growing and developing strong, healthy and smart kids.

I also love all things family, food, fitness and fun! I mean, who doesn’t?
